Today (5th) at around 8:30 in the morning, a water vapor column soared due to a leak in the heat transport pipe installed under the three-way road in front of Cheongwon Elementary School in Sanggye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul.
As the Seoul Energy Corporation closed the pipe valves and began restoration work, 18,000 residents in all 12 apartment complexes in the vicinity are unable to heat or receive hot water.
An official from Seoul Energy Corporation said, "We are checking the problem part in the piping and figuring out the cause."
