Three teenagers, including elementary school students, were arrested after robbing a gold and silver room, and one person who led the crime was put on the crossroads of arrest.

Gwangju Dongbu Police Station announced that it had applied for an arrest warrant for high school dropout A (16), who was arrested the day before on charges of breaking into a gold and silver room and stealing precious metals (special theft).

Middle school student B (15) and elementary school student C (12), who were arrested together, were handed over to their guardians after the investigation.

It is a policy to investigate without detention considering the degree of involvement in the crime and the fact that he is a juvenile under the law.

They are accused of breaking into a gold and silver room on the jewelry street in Chungjang-ro, Dong-gu, Gwangju at around 3:19 am on the 2nd and stealing 30 million won worth of precious metals, including gold bracelets, in 15 seconds.

Group A was investigated to have committed such a crime after wearing a motorcycle helmet and breaking the glass door to the gold and silver room and the display case in turn with a hammer.

Group C, wearing a helmet, broke into the gold and silver room together and picked up precious metals from a broken display case.

The two joined up with middle school student B (15) who was watching around and escaped on a motorcycle.

Police arrested three people hiding in a motel in Buk-gu, Gwangju after about 9 hours of committing the crime through closed-circuit TV tracking.

As a result of the investigation, it was known that those who frequently ran away committed the crime to raise living expenses.

Police are tracking down the man who was asked to dispose of the stolen property and took the precious metal, while investigating whether there are additional accomplices or instigators of the crime.

A decision on whether or not to arrest Group A will be made this afternoon.
