A building in Gangnam, Seoul.

At first glance, it looks like an ordinary shopping mall, but as soon as you get off the elevator, two suspicious doors catch your eye.

It was a gambling hall run by five people, including a man in his 40s, for several months, and illegal gambling was secretly conducted inside.

The entire floor of this shopping mall was used as a gambling hall.

This door was used as the entrance to the gambling hall, and this door was used as the exit, but it is now firmly blocked and closed.

It was on the 13th of last month that Mr. A’s gang was caught.

The police, who secured intelligence on a large-scale illegal gambling hall, stormed into the building and arrested five people, including Mr. A.

In addition, through the search and seizure, cell phones and details of funds were secured.

As a result of the police investigation, it was revealed that they operated the gambling hall systematically by dividing 'overseas headquarters, domestic headquarters and branches'.

When the overseas head office transmits the local gambling scene in real time, the domestic head office receives it and sends it back to each branch, and the users visiting the branch place stakes while watching the scene.

Mr. A’s party also created and operated an online gambling site.

The gambling funds alone that the police identified amounted to 600 billion won.

The police, who arrested Mr. A and others, are concentrating their investigative powers on catching the gunsmith and the domestic headquarters that designed the confiscation of criminal proceeds and illegal gambling.
