A gang of people who operated an illegal gambling site worth 600 billion won was arrested by the police.

Seoul Geumcheon Police Station recently arrested and sent five people, including a man in his 40s, to charges such as opening a gambling hall, and it was confirmed as a result of SBS coverage.

Five people, including Mr. A, are accused of operating an illegal gambling hall in a building in Gangnam-gu, Seoul for several months.

The gambling halls operated by them were systematically managed by connecting the overseas headquarters, domestic headquarters, and branches.

If the overseas head office broadcasted the gambling scene live, the domestic head office delivered it to each branch, and users watched the video at the branch and made real-time bets.

The police, which used to investigate only one gambling hall, are expanding their investigation to secure the details of the flow of funds to the domestic head office and arrest the chief executive.

More detailed news will be delivered in <SBS 8 News> in a while.
