According to the Gyeongnam Fire Department today (1st), firefighter Choi Woo-young witnessed a traffic accident on a road in Bukbu-dong, Yangsan-si, around 8:00 am on the 29th of last month.



Firefighter Choi Woo-young immediately stopped his vehicle and ran to the accident vehicle.



Inside the vehicle, a driver in his 20s was lying unconscious.



Firefighter Choi Woo-young, who discovered that a lot of smoke was erupting from the vehicle's engine room at the time, calmly extinguished the fire with a vehicle fire extinguisher in his vehicle, then quickly opened the door and moved the driver outside to rescue.



Firefighter Choi Woo-young continued to take safety measures until the fire department arrived at the scene.



The injured driver was quickly transported to the hospital and fortunately, it is known that life is not affected.



Firefighter Choi Woo-young is a new firefighter who was appointed in December of last year and has been in less than a year.
