A man in his 60s who repeatedly assaulted passersby who were walking with his dog was sentenced to prison in the first trial.

The Seoul Northern District Court sentenced a man in his 60s to three years in prison, who was handed over to trial for assault and other charges.

In October of last year, Mr. Han is accused of assaulting the victim who was walking with his dog by saying, 'If you want to raise a dog, you must report it to the ward office'.

A few days later, he approached another victim who was walking with his dog and beat him on the back of the head because the dog was not wearing a muzzle.

In November of the same year, Mr. Han also assaulted passersby who were taking a walk with their dog by hitting them on the cheek.

The victims of the assault were all women in their 20s and 30s.

Similar incidents have occurred recently.

The Seoul Eastern District Court sentenced a man in his 50s to 10 months in prison for beating a woman in her 70s.

It is said that after seeing a woman walking her dog, she tried to kick the dog, and when the woman protested, she was violently assaulted.
