Revisit your plans if you were planning on putting an iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max under the tree this year.

Apple's delivery times continue to lengthen and its latest generation of smartphones may not be among the most popular Christmas gifts, reports Phonandroid.

The health situation in China is mainly in question.

Many regions are under strict lockdown due to Covid-19, and in mid-November, violent protests erupted at the biggest iPhone manufacturing plant in Zhengzhou.

The workers used force against the police in order to leave the place, fearing to catch the Covid-19.

A delay impossible to catch up

As a result, delivery times for the iPhone 14 Pro (classic and Pro Max) have lengthened considerably.

According to Phonandroid, an order placed at the end of November will not arrive until December 28 at the earliest in France, which is too late for the opening of Christmas gifts.

Some colors are not available until early January 2023. To manage the situation as well as possible, Apple is trying to increase the production of its smartphones in its factories in India, but this measure alone will not be enough to catch up with the production delays.

Brand aficionados can fall back on the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus.

These models, much less requested than the Pro versions, are available and can arrive in less than a week.

Because of the few innovations offered, these iPhones are indeed neglected by customers, who see little point in such an investment.
