The National Police Agency was selected as a 'development agency' in the '2022 self-audit activity review' conducted by the Board of Audit and Inspection and received a commendation from the Director of the Board of Audit and Inspection.

The National Police Agency was selected as a power generation agency as it showed the greatest improvement in performance compared to the previous year among the 20 central administrative agencies in this evaluation.

Kim Dong-seok, inspector general of the National Police Agency, said, “I was able to receive a good evaluation by strengthening the training to secure the expertise of auditors and improving unreasonable practices and systems.” I will do it," he said.

This is the first time that the National Police Agency has received a commendation from the Director of the Board of Audit and Inspection as a power generation agency in a review of its own audit activities.

The Board of Audit and Inspection reviews and awards the internal audit organizations of central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions every year to strengthen their own audit activities.

This year, the Board of Audit and Inspection awarded awards on the 18th after examining 668 institutions in four areas: audit activities, infrastructure, performance, and follow-up management.
