A representative of a 60-year-old resident who shouted at elementary school students who were playing in the apartment playground, saying, "If you play in someone else's playground, you are a thief," was summarily indicted.

According to the legal community today (28th), the Incheon District Prosecutor's Office recently indicted A, a man in his 60s, who is the representative of the tenants of an apartment complex in Incheon, on charges of child abuse and intimidation under the Child Welfare Act, with a fine of 3 million won.

Summary prosecution is a procedure in which fines, fines, and confiscation are imposed by reviewing only documents submitted by the prosecution without a separate trial procedure.

Mr. A is accused of emotionally abusing and intimidating five 4th to 5th grade elementary school students, including Group B, in an apartment in Yeongjong Island, Jung-gu, Incheon, around 7:00 pm on October 12 of last year.

After confirming that the children do not live in the apartment, it was investigated that he took them to the management office and scared them with abusive language several times.

Mr. A claimed that the children living in the neighboring apartment damaged the playground property in the apartment playground where he lived at the time, and he reported 5 people to the police.

After being sued by the parents of the students who later recognized the facts, Mr. A was investigated by the police.

In a police investigation, Mr. A is known to have stated that "a lot of outside children came to the playground, so I was concerned about property damage, so I took them to the management office as a discipline."

Regarding the claim that the children damaged property, the police checked the CCTV and found that there was no evidence that the children had damaged the playground facilities.
