Cellist A, who is known to have said that President Yoon Seok-yeol and Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon had a late-night drink with lawyers, testified in a police investigation that it was a lie.

According to the police today (24th), the Seocho Police Station in Seoul secured a statement that "I lied to deceive my ex-boyfriend" while investigating Mr. A the day before in relation to the so-called 'Cheongdam-dong late night drinking suspicion'.

The police also confirmed that Mr. A's cell phone was digitally forensic and that Mr. A was not at the bar in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu at the time past midnight on the day he had a drinking party.

It is known that Mr. A also confirmed the person who was with him at that time.

The Seocho Police Station issued a communication warrant for those appearing in suspicion, such as Lee Se-chang (70), former acting president of the Freedom Federation, and analyzed the location information.

In addition, based on the contents of the investigation by visiting the bar and the ex-boyfriend's house, the suspicion of drinking was virtually false.

A police official said, "Now that the basic facts have been sorted out, we plan to investigate the route through which the false information was spread and the process of obtaining the recording file of Congressman Kim."

Last month today (24th), Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Eui-gyeom said in a general audit of the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee that Mr. A had a phone call with his ex-boyfriend, and President Yoon and Minister Han came to a drinking party with Kim & Chang lawyers, staying until late in the morning on July 20 and singing. We released a recording of the call of what he said he did.

At the time, Rep. Kim also released a recorded file of a call between former acting president Lee, who mentioned that Mr. A was at a drinking party, and Kang Jin-gu, CEO of the YouTube media'Citizen Media The Exploration' (The Exploration).

In this transcript, Mr. Kang asks, "On July 20th, about a month or two ago, there was a meeting with Minister Han, President Yoon, and Kim & Chang's lawyers at a cafe near the Galleria in Cheongdam-dong."

Then, Rep. Kim said, "The Tampa will report more specifics tonight," and The Tampa posted a video of the two calls on its YouTube channel on the same day.

In response, first lady Kim Gun-hee's fan cafe 'Geonsarang' and the conservative group 'New Hope Society' filed a complaint with the police last month against Rep. Kim, Mr. Kang, Mr. A, and former acting president Lee for defamation by timely false information.

Former Acting President Lee also sued Rep. Kim and Mr. Kang for defamation due to timely false information, claiming that "the recording file was tampered with."
