Police have arrested a gang that hacked into hundreds of popular Naver blog accounts and sold them to advertisers.

The 2nd Cybercrime Investigation Unit of the Northern Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency arrested 10 people today (16th), including Mr. It is.

These organizations are suspected of selling their accounts to a third party after hacking them by sending e-mails to 500 popular Naver blog operators from July of last year to February of this year to find out personal information.

After creating an email address similar to the Naver domain address, they sent it to bloggers to deceive them by saying, "The account was logged in from overseas."

It has been confirmed that bloggers who entered passwords in false e-mails have been hacked.

So far, they have actually hacked about 150 accounts, and it has been found that they have raised a total of 200 million won in criminal proceeds.

These organizations were systematically operated with bases throughout the country, dividing roles into program developers, business owner recruitment management, and cash collectors.

The police are investigating the crimes against them and are continuing to pursue accomplices.
