It has been confirmed that Constitutional Court Judge Lee Young-jin, who is under investigation for entertainment, has submitted a statement to the High-ranking Officials Crime Investigation Agency.

The 3rd Investigation Department of the Airlift is analyzing Judge Lee's statement submitted yesterday (14th).

Judge Lee is said to have denied the allegation that he received 5 million won in cash and golf clothes from businessman A in a statement of about 10 pages.

Judge Lee is suspected of receiving golf and meal entertainment from Mr. A and others in October of last year, and said to the effect of 'I know the chief judge of the family court, so I will help with the divorce suit'.

Mr. A also claimed to have delivered 5 million won in cash and golf clothes to this judge through Mr. B, a lawyer.

When the suspicion arose, the judge acknowledged that he played golf and ate, but denied that he had received any money or valuables as well as conversations related to the trial.

It is known that Mr. B also made a statement to the effect that he did not deliver money or valuables to Judge Lee in the investigation of the airlift.

The Airlift, which started an investigation after receiving a complaint from a civic group, has analyzed confiscated items obtained from golf courses, etc. along with investigations of those involved until recently.

Based on the statement, the Airlift is considering whether to directly summon this judge for investigation.
