Yesterday (13th) afternoon at an apartment building in Jungnang-gu, Seoul, a taxi rushed toward a passerby.

One resident was killed and one was injured in the accident.

A taxi rushes through the parked cars.



It collided with a vehicle, then rushed straight to two passersby and stopped.



It happened yesterday at around 5:40 pm in the parking lot of an apartment building in Jungnang-gu, Seoul.



The taxi that caused the accident collided with four vehicles, followed by two residents.



One resident, a woman in her 80s, died, and another woman in her 60s complained of abdominal pain and was taken to the hospital.



Police determined that the taxi driver, a man in his 70s, was not under the influence of alcohol.



The police plan to investigate the exact cause of the accident based on the driver's claim that "the vehicle accelerated".

A plume of smoke rises high into the sky.



The fire that started at a non-woven fabric manufacturing plant in Namyang-eup, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do at 4:20 pm yesterday was extinguished at 1:30 am this morning.



The fire burned down the entire 2,580-square-meter factory.



There were no casualties, but there was a power outage in the Namyang-eup area due to the fire.
