Last August, the Ministry of National Defense designated 136,000 square meters of the area around the official residence as a military facility protection zone for the purpose of conducting alert and security operations, strengthening control over the entire area.



Accordingly, any act of photographing, depicting, recording, or surveying the inside of the official residence is prohibited.



Among the citizens, dissatisfaction with 'It is burdensome to openly monitor citizens who come for a walk', 'It is too much to take pictures even though it looks good with the naked eye' and 'It is a place where the president lives, so some security measures are not necessary. Opinions are divided, such as 'Isn't it?



The Presidential Security Service has requested the Seoul Metropolitan Government to install a notice board to inform citizens that filming of the official residence is restricted.
