We are constantly reporting the government's new welfare information system error, but the situation did not improve, so following the 20th of last month, there were many people who did not receive welfare benefits today (the 20th), the payment date of this month.

We also pointed out whether the plan to additionally open the system next month will be implemented properly.

This is the exclusive report by reporter Han Seong-hee.

Mr. A, who is raising middle school children alone, did not receive 370,000 won in housing allowance last month due to an error in the welfare system.

This is not the only time support has been stopped due to system errors.

A single-parent family raising two children told reporters that "the child meal card support has stopped" and that they do not have money to buy food, so "they are feeding their children with what they have at home, such as the refrigerator."

Those who have been delayed by the second month are mainly new registrants or transferees.

The items are housing benefits, etc., but it cannot be solved manually because data between institutions must be linked.

Officials in charge complain of fatigue.

[Mr. C/Seoul ○○-gu Office Welfare Manager: Everything is done by hand.

The work is now usually two to three times higher than usual (before the system was opened).]

Civil servants' unions issued a statement and demanded an apology from the Minister of Health and Welfare.

The Ministry of Welfare plans to open additional systems related to support such as nursing facilities and facilities for the disabled on the 9th of next month.

However, it was confirmed that the integration test, which had to be conducted at least three times before opening, had not yet been performed in order to correct system errors that had been previously opened.
