Prosecutors caught the situation in which Ssangbool Group funds were smuggled to China, and started a search and seizure of the homes of Ssangbool Group executives.

The 6th Criminal Division of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office, which is investigating allegations of embezzlement and breach of trust, is conducting a search and seizure today (14th) of the homes of senior executives of the Ssangbang Group and the president of the Asia-Pacific Peace Exchange Association, Ahn Mo.

Prosecutors are known to have caught the suspicion of smuggling billions of won in dollars to China by mobilizing employees of the Ssangbangbang Group in 2019.

Prosecutors are said to be investigating whether the money smuggled into China was handed over to North Korea.

It seems that the home of the president of the Asia-Pacific Association, which is a private exchange group with North Korea, and has been carrying out projects with North Korea with support from the Ssangbang Group, was also subject to a search and seizure for this reason.
