The Hwaseong Western Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced today (12th) that they arrested a 20-year-old man A on charges of violating the Stalking Punishment Act, confinement, and special injury and applied for an arrest warrant.



Mr. A is accused of cutting the hair of her ex-girlfriend, Mr. B, in his 20s, with scissors and assaulting her face, etc. in the basement of an apartment in Hyangnam-eup, Hwaseong-si around 1:35 am yesterday.



According to Mr. A's suggestion to "Let's have a conversation," they entered the multipurpose space together, and it was found that Mr. A committed the crime after preventing Mr. B from leaving.



The police, who went to meet A together, received a report from B's friend who witnessed the scene, and were dispatched to the police, breaking the locked glass window of the multi-purpose space and arresting the current criminal.



In the process, Mr. A is also accused of obstructing the execution of special duties by threatening the police officer with a weapon and resisting.



A police official said, "It was found that Mr. A committed the crime while stalking him for several months after breaking up with Mr. B."
