Five members of a family gathered in Muju, Jeollabuk-do to celebrate the birthday of their 80-year-old mother, lost their lives.

Police are investigating the exact cause of the accident, believing that it was poisoned by carbon monoxide leaking from an oil boiler.

Yesterday (9th) around 4:50 PM, six members of a family were found dead in a house in Mupung-myeon, Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do.



After receiving a report from another family member that they could not be reached, the police went home to check.



Of the six family members found, five were dead, including an elderly mother in her 80s, a younger daughter, two sons-in-law and a granddaughter.



The eldest daughter lost consciousness and was rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment.



It is said that the family gathered in Seoul and Cheongju to celebrate Mr. A's birthday the day before the accident.



Police believe they were poisoned by carbon monoxide leaking from an oil boiler overnight.

Firefighters are cleaning up the steel structure inside the control line that is stretched around the building.



At around 6:50 pm yesterday evening, at the construction site of a new residential and commercial complex in Gurae-dong, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, the scaffolding installed on the exterior wall fell.



It is presumed that it was due to the strong wind. Fortunately, no one was injured, but three cars parked nearby were damaged.

At around 10:20 last night, on a road in Galgot-dong, Osan-si, Gyeonggi-do, a paper company commuter bus collided with a road sign pole, injuring five people, including a driver in their 60s and a passenger.
