Rapper Noel (real name Jang Yong-jun), who was sentenced to one year in prison at the appeals court for refusing to comply with a request for a breathalyzer test and assaulting a police officer, will receive a final judgment by the Supreme Court on the 14th.

On the morning of the 14th, part 3 of the Supreme Court sentenced Jang, who was indicted on charges of drunk driving, to an appeal.

On September 18, last year, at around 10:30 pm, while driving a car at the intersection of St. Mary's Hospital in Seocho-gu, Seoul, he had an accident with another car, and was indicted for refusing to respond to a police officer's request for a breathalyzer and hitting a police officer with his head. That's it.

The first and second trial courts found most of the charges against Mr. Jang guilty and sentenced him to one year in prison.

However, he acquitted the police officer on the grounds that the injuries were minor.

Jang, the son of National Power lawmaker Jang Je-won, was also charged with driving a drunken car in Mapo-gu, Seoul in 2019 and collided with a motorcycle, and was sentenced to one year and six months in prison and two years of probation.
