A man who broke into a home at dawn was injured while escaping through a window and was caught by the police.
The Gwangju West Police Station announced today (7th) that a man in his 20s, A, was arrested on charges of running away while trying to molest a woman who had broken into a house and was sleeping.
According to the police, Mr. A is accused of breaking into a house in Nongseong-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju around 5:50 a.m. today and trying to molest a woman in her 60s.
When his son woke up after hearing the woman's screams and tried to report it to the police, Mr. A jumped from the fourth floor through a broken window.
Person A was injured by the impact of the jump and was found by the police who were dispatched while sitting on the spot and transferred to a nearby hospital.
The police plan to find out the exact circumstances of the incident through the victims, considering that Mr. A lost consciousness during transport and it is difficult to investigate.
