Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon countered today (6th) that the Democratic Party's claim that the prosecution's investigation into Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party, is biased, "the frame itself of retaliation or targeted investigation is not established."

Minister Han arrived at the National Assembly this morning to attend the State Audit of the Ministry of Justice and said, "Many of these issues have been raised in the Democratic Party's intra-party primary and have been around for a long time."

He said, "It has always been the case for a person under criminal investigation to talk about various things in terms of defense," he said.

Minister Han said, "In this country, gangsters, drug dealers, and gangsters, drug dealers, and gangsters in this country do not exist in a country where the prosecution investigates thugs," said Minister Han, criticizing the revision of the enforcement ordinance of the Ministry of Justice's 'Inspector Uniform' (restore the prosecutor's authority). No one thinks that prosecutors should not investigate thugs and drugs other than those behind the scenes.”
