A Korean in his 30s died at a hotel in Danang, Vietnam, visited by many Koreans.

I got electrocuted when I got into the pool.

The family claims that there was a problem with the hotel's response immediately after the accident.

Hotel staff perform CPR on a woman who has collapsed.



The doctor who arrived soon followed it up and started rescue operations.



A Korean tourist in his 30s, who entered the outdoor swimming pool of a 5-star hotel in Da Nang, Vietnam, was electrocuted yesterday (5th) at around 5:50 pm local time.



CPR was performed for about 15 minutes, but A died in the end.



[A's bereaved family: Our young lady came down one step of the (pool) stairs.

He said 'Uh-huh' and now he shakes his body and seems to stiffen up a bit.]



It is presumed that the light bulb in the pool lit up and an electric current flowed through it.



[A's bereaved family: I tapped my shoulder with my finger, but something stinging enough to feel it at once came.

(The hotel employee) put his hand on it, but he was startled.]



Immediately after the accident, the hotel staff couldn't touch Mr. A's body, and only after wrapping his arm with a towel did he get it out of the water.



A's family took issue with the hotel's response.

It is said that the staff only checked the pulse and breathing immediately after rescue, but CPR was performed late when the family requested it.

The doctor who performed the last CPR made a death decision, and it is known that the hotel is temporarily closed.



[Hotel official: We can only inform you that the swimming pool is closed.

We are also waiting for (police) answers.]



The local police launched an investigation to find out the exact cause of death and the cause of the accident.
