Yesterday (1st), the Ministry of National Defense later acknowledged the mistake and began to correct the use of an image of a Chinese military armored car in the video used for the Armed Forces Day ceremony.

The Ministry of National Defense confirmed that the video used for the 74th anniversary of the Armed Forces Day ceremony contained images of Chinese military equipment, and said that it had requested each broadcaster to modify the online video.

In the video in question, the armored car that appeared along with showing off the army's posture with the 'Resolve of the Armed Forces' included in the live broadcast after the Armed Forces Day ceremony was a Chinese Army infantry fighting vehicle.

Afterwards, comments about the appearance of Chinese armored vehicles in the Armed Forces Day video continued online.

The Ministry of National Defense then acknowledged the mistake and expressed regret.

The Ministry of National Defense said, "The photos in the video are not military equipment, and the wrong photos were included in the process of making the video. I did.

The Ministry of National Defense has requested each broadcaster to revise the relevant part of the video remaining online.

In addition, criticism was raised about guiding the military song 'Torch of Destruction' to 'Torch of Victory' at the ceremony.

In the ceremony and the broadcast subtitles, it was introduced as a 'torch of victory', but the attendees suggested 'a torch of destruction'.

An official from the Ministry of National Defense explained, "The title was written as 'Torch of Victory' in consideration of the foreign guests at the ceremony, but the lyrics were not changed at the scene and it was called 'Torch of Destruction'."
