Due to the influence of low pressure, heavy rain is expected in various places throughout the country until the next day.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, raindrops began to fall at 11 a.m. today in northern Gyeonggi and Gangwon inland and mountainous areas.

As the rain cloud belt developed in the West Sea moves northeast at a speed of 75 km/h, the rainy area will gradually expand.

It is expected to rain in the metropolitan area and Chungcheongnam-do from the afternoon, and it is expected to start raining in Gangwon-do, Chungbuk, and northern Gyeongbuk inland at night.

Tomorrow, the National Foundation Day, it will rain in the central region, northern Jeollabuk-do, and northern Gyeongbuk.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that rain would continue through the morning of the next day.

The expected precipitation until the day after tomorrow is expected to record 50 to 100 mm in the metropolitan area, the northwestern coast of South Chungcheong Province, and the West Sea 5 degrees, and 120 mm or more in many places in northwestern Gyeonggi Province.

The rain falls as a warm southwesterly wind flows into Korea due to the low pressure moving eastward from the Bohai Bay side, so the center of precipitation will be the central region.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, between tonight and tomorrow morning and between tomorrow night and the morning of the day after tomorrow, 20 to 30 millimeters of rain may fall per hour, centered on the central west coast and central region, respectively.

Heavy rain warnings may be issued throughout the central region.

Be prepared for rain in some areas until the day after tomorrow, with gusts of wind and thunder and lightning.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that from the day after the rain stopped, cold air would come down and the temperature would drop sharply, resulting in a chilly weather 2-4 degrees lower than normal.
