A large fire broke out at a pharmaceutical company in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, killing one person.
Today (30th) around 2:20 pm, a fire caused by an explosion occurred at a drug factory in Sangsin-ri, Hyangnam-eup, Hwaseong-si, and the fire department issued a response stage and started firefighting work.
The fire killed a 28-year-old man and injured 14 others.
Four of them were said to be seriously injured.
The fire department received a report that "the sound of an explosion is heard from the drug factory in the pharmaceutical complex" and is working to extinguish the fire.
