The Gangseo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 29th that as a result of checking the identity of the body found in the tidal flats of Ganghwa-do, Incheon during the Chuseok holiday, the 25-year-old Lee Mo, who went missing in Gajiong, Seoul, was identified.



Earlier, at 1:45 pm on the 10th, a fisherman found a body in the tidal flat near Gwangseongbo in Buleun-myeon, Ganghwa-gun, Incheon, and reported it to the police.



At the time of discovery, the body had the upper body missing and only the lower body remained, and most of it was in a decomposed state.



After that, the Incheon Maritime Police Station requested an autopsy and DNA analysis to the National Forensic Service to confirm the identity of the body.



As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that Lee disappeared near Gayang Station in Gangseo-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 7th of last month.



Mr. Lee broke up with his acquaintances near the Airport Market Station in Gangseo-gu around 1:30 a.m. on the same day, and at 2:15 a.m. 45 minutes later, he went up from Gayang Station to the Gayang Bridge. .



Although no suspects were found at the time of his disappearance, the Coast Guard is investigating the circumstances of Lee's death.
