Jeon Joo-hwan, the perpetrator of stalking at Shindang Station, asked to postpone his sentence while he was in court.

Jeon Joo-hwan said that when the judge asked the reason for the postponement, the public's attention and media reports were focused.

The court did not accept this request, and sentenced Jeon Joo-hwan to 9 years in prison for illegal filming and stalking, and ordered 80 hours of stalking treatment and 40 hours of sexual offence treatment.

A lawyer for the bereaved family said, "I think that the accused is self-centered and is not really reflecting on Jeon Joo-hwan's remarks after the sentencing is over."
