A large number of foreign workers and international students were arrested by the police after having a drug party in a foreigner-only club and karaoke room.



The Busan Metropolitan Police Agency and the Busan Immigration Service said they had arrested 72 Vietnamese foreigners and two Korean business owners on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.



Five of them were arrested, including a Vietnamese man who is a major drug dealer.



Five salespeople including Mr. A bought drugs such as ecstasy and ketamine on the Internet between March and September of this year, and then recruited so-called drug party participants through SNS to buy drugs along with alcohol at foreigner-only clubs and karaoke bars in Changwon, Gyeongnam and Sasang-gu, Busan. You are charged with offering or selling.



The foreigners arrested were mainly workers or international students, and 37 out of 72 were identified as illegal immigrants.



The police imposed permanent entry restrictions on all foreigners caught this time.
