The prosecution requested the court to order the attachment of electronic devices to Lee Eun-hae (31) and Cho Hyeon-soo (30), who were charged with the 'valley murder' case.

At the 15th trial held today (22nd) as a hearing of the Incheon District Court's 15th Criminal Division (Chief Judge Lee Kyu-hoon), the prosecution prosecuted Mr. Lee and Mr. Cho, who were charged with murder and attempted murder, for 20 years and protection Requested to order 5 years of observation.

Prosecutors said, "Even though murder and attempted murder were discovered, the accused firmly denies it and regarded the victim as an instrumental object to obtain financial benefits," the prosecution said.

The prosecution today revealed the results of Lee's recidivism risk assessment (KORAS-G) for reasons such as requesting an order to attach an electronic device.

Prosecutors explained, "In the recidivism risk assessment, a score of 12 or higher is high, but Eun-hae Lee scored 15 points and Hyun-soo Cho was evaluated at 10 points.

Lee was arrested and charged with the murder of his husband, Mo Yoon (age 39 at the time of his death), in Yongso Valley, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, on June 30, 2019 at around 8:24 pm on June 30, 2019, along with his brother-in-law, Mr. Cho.

Prosecutors determined that they killed Yoon, who could not swim, by making him jump from a rock 4m high into a valley 3m deep without any rescue equipment.

Prosecutors concluded that Mr. Lee and Mr. Cho had committed a planned crime for 800 million won in life insurance in the name of Mr. Yoon.
