The police are investigating the possibility that the mother and daughter found dead in a villa in Busan on the last day of the Chuseok holiday may have been murdered.

According to the Busanjin Police Station on the 22nd, a woman in her 40s and her teenage daughter B were found dead in a villa in Busanjin-gu around 12:49 pm on the 12th.

Mr. A was in her living room, bleeding, and Ms. B was found in her own room.

A teenage son, C, who woke up from a sleep in another room found this situation and reported it to the police with the help of a neighbor.

In light of the fact that the door was forcibly opened at the beginning of the investigation, the police investigated various possibilities such as suicide or murder, but as the investigation progressed, the weight was placed on the murder.

The police confirmed that the precious metal that the deceased was wearing on her body had disappeared.

Daughter B's cell phone was left outside the villa and was found a few days after her mother and daughter died.

The police explained that they have requested the National Forensic Service to conduct a detailed analysis of the cell phone and are waiting for the results.

The findings that a suspected drug substance was found in the autopsy of the mother and daughter were also delivered to the police on the 21st, adding to the possibility of murder.

The police said they are narrowing the investigation network based on the various circumstances found.

Since there is no sign that the door was forcibly opened, the possibility is raised that the mother and daughter and someone they know may be the culprit.

We continue to secure closed circuit (CC) TV around the villa.

Group C, who witnessed the death of her mother and sister, is now known to be living under the care of other bereaved family members.

The police explained that in case of an emergency, the victim protection team was connected to look at Army C.

The police said, "There is a task force in charge of the case, and about 30 people from 4 teams of violent detectives and the Busan Police Agency's unsolved investigation team are also going out to support them."
