A victim of a kidnapping incident in Yongsan-gu, Seoul last month, was arrested on drug charges.



The Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested a man in his 20s and his girlfriend on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act on the 15th.



On the 15th of last month, at around 0:20 a.m., near an apartment complex in Yongsan-gu, A was abducted by four men in a vehicle.



At that time, Mr. A dramatically escaped by jumping off the door when the car was passing through Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu.



It is said that the kidnapping suspects and Mr. A know each other and are entangled in a debt relationship.



During the investigation of the four kidnappers on charges of special confinement, the police found out about the drug use of Mr. A.



It is also known that the kidnapper claimed that A was addicted to drugs.



After tracking down the whereabouts of Mr. A, who disappeared after the incident, the police found him at the house of Mr. A's girlfriend.



After confirming that A and his girlfriend tested positive for drugs, the police arrested the two.



The police also sent two of the kidnapping suspects to the prosecution on the 15th on charges of special robbery.
