While coach Lee Kyu-hyeon (42), a former figure skating national, was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a minor student, it was revealed that he even filmed illegally on the day of the crime.

At the end of last month, the first criminal division of the Namyangju Office of the Uijeongbu District Prosecutor's Office (Chief Prosecutor Son Jeong-suk) arrested and indicted Mr.

Earlier this year, the investigation revealed that Lee had illegally filmed a teenage student he was teaching after drinking alcohol and attempting to rape him several times.

It is known that Lee, who is currently imprisoned in Uijeongbu Prison, completely denies the crime.

Meanwhile, in relation to this case, Lee's past scandal also surfaced.

In September 2005, while driving his vehicle in Bomun-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Lee was arrested on charges of hitting a passerby in his 50s and running away to death.

In addition, at the '2017 International Skating Union (ISU)' competition held in September 2016, excessive contact with the body of a teenager at the time was broadcast, causing controversy.

Famous for his 'ice skating family', Mr. Lee is the younger brother of Kyu-hyuk Lee, a former speed skating national. His father, Lee Ik-hwan, is also a speed skater, and his mother, In-suk Lee, served as president of the National Skating Federation.

At the time of the warrant request, the prosecution also emphasized that there is a risk of secondary harm as it has a great influence on Lee's family's ice skating world.

Lee's first trial will be held tomorrow (20th) at the Namyangju Branch of the Uijeongbu District Court.
