The National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities (Jeon Jang-yeon) resumed subway protests on the way to work after 6 days.

Jeon Jang-yeon held a press conference at the platform of City Hall Station on Line 2 around 7:30 in the morning on the 19th.

Afterwards, transfer at Dangsan Station and head to the National Assembly Station on Line 9.

Members protested by getting off the train every time it stopped and moving to the side door.

As a result, the operation between City Hall Station and Dangsan Station was delayed for about 41 minutes.

Today's protest was held to commemorate the 38th anniversary of Kim Soon-seok, who died in 1984 while urging for a solution to the problem of mobility for the disabled.

About 80 members opened up a banner with the phrase 'The 38th anniversary of the death of Kim Soon-seok, in search of freedom of movement' and read the will left by Mr. Kim at the time.

Park Kyung-seok, president of Jeon Jang-yeon, also criticized the People's Power floor leader Kwon Seong-dong, referring to the recent post on Facebook about the Jeon Jang-yeon protest, stating that 'the only thing that can be obtained illegally is punishment'.

President Park said, "I hope that the people's power will give up the bad habit of using the rights of persons with disabilities as a partisan."
