When it is an emergency but it is difficult to speak because you are with the perpetrator, you can now call 112 and press the number button on your cell phone to report it.

The National Police Agency has decided to launch a 'smart' campaign to formalize double-pressing the number button after calling 112 as an emergency report.

Upon hearing the button press, the police send a 'Visible 112' service link to the reporter's mobile phone, and when the reporter clicks the link, the location of the reporter and a video of the scene are transmitted to the 112 Situation Room.

You can even have a secret chat on a screen that looks like a regular internet search box.

The police said that they devised this reporting method considering it is difficult for victims of dating violence or child abuse to report verbally to 112 when they are with the perpetrator.

It seems to be useful when you want to report without being exposed to witnesses in various crime scenes such as voice phishing, assault, and drunk driving.
