As of 12:00 noon, it takes 8 hours 50 minutes from Busan to Seoul, 7 hours 20 minutes from Mokpo, and 5 hours 20 minutes from Gangneung.



It takes 8 hours from Seoul to Busan, 6 hours to Gwangju, and 4 hours 30 minutes to Gangneung.



The Korea Expressway Corporation predicted that the largest number of vehicles will pour out on the highway today during the holiday period.



The Road Corporation predicted that a total of 6.49 million vehicles will use the expressway today, with 490,000 from the metropolitan area to the province and 480,000 from the province to the metropolitan area.



Nationally, it is predicted that the traffic towards hometown will be most congested from 1pm to 2pm, with congestion on the Yeongdong Line at 12 noon, the West Coast Line at 1pm and the Gyeongbu Line at its peak around 4pm.



In the direction of return, traffic congestion peaks between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM.



The worst is at 2 pm on the Gyeongbu Line and 4 pm on the Yeongdong Line.
