According to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), Typhoon Muipa, the 12th typhoon, occurred at about 9 am on the 8th in the sea 1,200 km south-southeast of Okinawa, Japan.

Muypa is the name Macao submitted to the typhoon committee, meaning plum blossom.

Currently, the intensity of the Muyipa is 'medium', but it has grown as it moved west, reaching 480 km south-southeast of Okinawa as a 'river' at 9 am on the 10th. We will reach the sea 230 km to the west.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that it would be possible to determine the movement route of Muifa or whether it was affected in Korea in about 10 days.
