The fire at the Hyundai Steel plant in Incheon was completely extinguished in one day.
The Incheon Fire Department announced that it had extinguished all the flames from the energy storage device building in the Hyundai Steel Plant in Songhyeon-do, Dong-gu, Incheon around 7:30 in the morning on the 7th.
The fire started around 6:30 a.m. yesterday and was extinguished after about 25 hours.
During the extinguishing process, a firefighter suffered burns to his left hand and shoulder and was taken to hospital for treatment.
In this fire, 1,970 square meters of one two-story building with storage devices were all burned, but due to the nature of the unmanned system, there were no workers left, so there were no additional casualties.
The fire department believes that the first fire started on the first floor of the energy storage building and is investigating the exact cause of the fire and damage to property.
