Yes, the search operation of the underground parking lot to rescue the missing continued past midnight until early morning.

After that, the rescuers took a break for a while, and the last-minute search operation is being carried out again from 6 a.m. a little while ago.

So far, eight people have been rescued.

Among them, a 39-year-old man and two 52-year-old women were rescued alive and taken to hospital.

The remaining six were found to be in cardiac arrest.

The full-fledged search for people in the underground parking lot that was full of water started yesterday evening when a lot of water in the parking lot was drained.

When the water level inside the parking lot dropped to 1.5 meters below, rescuers were able to enter.

The fire department said search personnel searched the inside of the parking lot by trawling by standing in line and scanning the interior.

The same operation was carried out five times overnight, and it was carefully checked to see if there were any missing persons trapped in the car, but the rescue team explained that they did not find any additional missing persons other than eight people.

However, as more people have been rescued than the 7 people who were reported missing to the fire department in the first place, we are conducting the final search without excluding the possibility of finding additional missing persons.

The missing people heard a broadcast from the management office telling them to get their car out of the underground parking lot around 6:30 am, and they went down to move their car and had an accident.

At that time, the Pohang area was in a situation where it was raining at a rate of 110mm per hour due to the influence of Hinnamno.

The fire department plans to finish all related work and announce the search results in the morning of today (7th) at the latest.
