Here in Tongyeong North New Port, where I am standing, the rain accompanied by strong winds has repeatedly stopped raining.



You can feel for yourself that a typhoon is approaching through the ever-changing weather conditions.



There is a high risk of tsunami damage mainly in ports and fishing villages due to the news that a typhoon will land near Tongyeong around 6 am tomorrow (6th).



Currently, about 300 ships are anchored in this port to avoid the typhoon, and about 13,000 ships are evacuated from the Gyeongnam area.



The typhoon advisory, which took effect this afternoon, is maintained in Tongyeong.



Tensions are also rising as the typhoon is approaching close overnight and heavy rain is expected to fall between 50 and 100 mm per hour along with strong winds.
