A male student lies behind a female teacher who writes on the blackboard, holding a cell phone.

She doesn't care that she's in class, lying on the podium and touching her phone as if she were filming.

He doesn't care about the reactions of other students.

[Is that the right behavior?]

On one side of the classroom, there are students who take the class with their tops off.

This 20-second video uploaded to an SNS on the 26th shows a class at a middle school in Hongseong.

As suspicions grew that male students were illegally filming a female teacher, the school explained that there was a misunderstanding.

The school explained that it happened because the students were usually casual with their teachers, and that the students went up to the church to charge their cell phones during class, and they did a search and there was no filming of the teacher.

[The middle school official: Because I was very friendly with the homeroom teacher and without hesitation.

I think he's gotten a little spoiled.]

Regarding the school's explanation, the teachers' organizations say that it is an absurd position and a clear violation of the right to education.

[Kim Jong-hyun / Head of the Chungnam Branch of the Teachers' Union: The number of students infringing on legitimate educational activities is increasing significantly.

There is no basis for guidance that teachers can properly educate or guide students.]

Last month in Sejong, two high school students were caught illegally filming five female teachers.

The student human rights ordinance stating that cell phones should not be banned has also been controversial, and there are no clear rules to guide students, so similar things are happening over and over again regardless of the region.
