In 2001, the police arrested a suspect who murdered an employee with a pistol in a bank parking lot in Daejeon and ran away with 300 million won in cash.

According to the Daejeon Police Agency, the interrogation of two suspects, including Mr. A, who was caught on murder and robbery charges on the 25th, is ongoing at the Daejeon District Court from 2 pm.
The exact circumstances of their arrest have not yet been confirmed, but it is known that the DNA left at the scene at the time of the incident and their DNA match, as well as that one suspect admitted to some of the crimes.
Earlier, at 10 am on December 21, 2001, two black masked men appeared in the underground parking lot of Kookmin Bank in Seo-gu, Daejeon, and ran away with 300 million won in cash from a cash transport vehicle.
A bank employee was shot and killed in the process.
This case remained an unsolved case for 20 years, but in 2019, when the suspicion was broadcast on 'I want to know', the report continued, and the Daejeon Police Agency was investigating again.
