From today (26th) to the end of October, a night market is held at Hangang Park on Friday and Saturday nights.

Seoul's representative night festival, which was suspended due to the corona virus, was reopened after 3 years.

Let's connect that scene.

You can see a lot of people behind reporter Kim Sang-min.

It's been a long time since I've seen this kind of scenery at Hangang Park in Seoul on a Friday night.

The Hangang Park Night Market, which has been visited by 3 million people annually, did not open last October in 2019, so today is the first time in about 3 years.

After the night market opened at 5 pm, office workers who had left work flocked to the area, and the area around Banpo Hangang Park was filled with citizens who visited the night market and those who wanted to see the night view near Banpo Bridge.

There was a long line as customers flocked to all 40 food trucks selling various types of food, and about 60 sales booths selling accessories and dog products appeared.

As food truck operators, a symbol of small-cap youth startups, have had difficulties due to social distancing for a long time, it is expected that this event will help them recover their path.

As the saying goes, I hope the night market will be of great help to those who are having a hard time due to the corona virus.

When the corona virus was severe, there were rare events where food or drink was provided by visiting temporary screening clinics or relief agencies in person, but it has been a long time since such a large-scale night market has been running for two months, so food truck operators and citizens are welcome.

[Seonghwan Ko/President of Food Truck: Everyone was having a hard time during Corona, but now there are so many of them, so I feel good and I hope everyone goes well.]

[Shin Eun-ji/Seoul Yeongdeungpo-gu: I waited for 40 minutes now.

It was still hard to stand in line, but the weather is nice, so it's fun to stand in line because it's not too hot or anything like that.]

The Hangang Park Night Market is scheduled to open 10 times until October 29, every Friday and Saturday from 5 PM to 10 PM. It is closed this Chuseok holiday and during rainy season.
