On the afternoon of the 19th, strong rain poured down in some areas of the metropolitan area including Seoul.

There are many places that are now in a state of lull.

A reporter is out in a place that was heavily damaged by heavy rain last week.

Reporter Son Hyung-an, many people must have been surprised to see the heavy rain today, but how is the situation at the site?

I'm at the Men's Four Seasons Market in Dongjak-gu, where it rained the most in Seoul during the last torrential downpour.

The heavy rain this afternoon showed a brief lull, but now it is raining lightly.

Since the restoration of flood damage has not yet been completed, merchants were very worried when it rained again.

[Jang Geum-ok / Market Merchant: It's good if the water drains well, but if it doesn't...

It rains a lot, so I'm a little worried.]

Around 4 pm today, it rained up to 50mm per hour in some areas of Seoul and the metropolitan area.

The accumulated precipitation was 67,5 mm in Dongdaemun, 62.6 mm in Jongno, and 62.5 mm in Seongbuk in Seoul.

In Gyeonggi Province, more than 50 mm of rain fell in Gimpo, Guri, and Goyang.

Heavy rain advisories issued in the metropolitan area are now all lifted.

How about the rain tonight?

<Reporter>

At this time, the metropolitan area, including Seoul, is still under the influence of rain clouds.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that rain clouds would pass through the eastern part of Gyeonggi Province and Yeongseo, Gangwon, between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

Accordingly, there is a high possibility of rain before midnight in the metropolitan area, so it is necessary to prepare for it.

After midnight, the metropolitan area will be out of the rain zone, and rain is expected to fall in the southern and southern regions of Chungcheong Province.
