In the pouring rain, the manhole cover on the road could not withstand the water pressure and soared, hitting the bus.

The impact was so great that the bus window fell off and the steel frame was also twisted.

One of the guests hears an 'Ouch' sound...

Water bombs poured out so quickly that it is impossible to tell where the road is from the field.

In some residential areas, rainwater that could not escape rushed into the yard and flooded the house in an instant.

It is raining hard enough to issue a heavy rain warning all over Jeju, so this place is full of rainwater.

I try to scoop up the rainwater with the wet furniture set aside, but it is not enough.

[Kim Young-min / Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju: Even though it rained like this today, the water was up to my knees.

So I hurriedly borrowed a (drainage) pump and was draining water, and now I can't even accept guests...

Over two days, it rained more than 300mm on Mt. Halla, 108mm on Jeju and 223mm on Seogwipo.

During the night, some water purification plants, such as Jocheon and Gangjeong, were temporarily shut down due to lightning strikes and emergency restoration work was carried out.

All heavy rain warnings on Jeju Island have been lifted as of 3 pm, but it is predicted that rain will continue through the night.
