A 20-year-old tourist who went missing while playing in the water in Jeju on the 11th was found dead on the 13th, two days after his disappearance.
The Jeju Maritime Police Station said that at around 10:21 am on the same day, a 20-year-old male tourist, A, was found missing in the sea 200m in front of Handam Beach, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, and the body was salvaged.
The Jeju Coast Guard confirmed the identity of the body to be a male tourist in his 20s who went missing on the 11th.
Person A was swept away by waves with a total of 6 people, including Mr. B, while playing in the water near Handam Beach in Jeju City at around 4:55 pm on the 11th.
Among the party, Mr. A went missing, and Mr. B was rescued by the Coast Guard immediately after the accident and taken to the hospital, but he died.
