Although electricity sales have increased and electricity rates have risen slightly, the main reason is that fuel costs and electricity purchase costs have risen sharply due to a surge in international energy prices.



As a large-scale deficit is expected to continue in the second half of the year, there are also observations that the deficit could reach up to 30 trillion won this year.
