This time, let's take a look at the current situation in Seoul, which suffered a lot of damage due to heavy rain.

SBS reporter is out at Jamsu Bridge.

Reporter Lee Seong-hoon, has the Jamsu Bridge reopened now?

<Reporter>

It is shown in Jamsu Bridge over the Han River in Seoul.

Now the rain has stopped.

However, as the water level of the Hangang River rises, Jamsu Bridge and Hangang Park remain submerged.

The sign is barely visible above the water.

The water level at Jamsu Bridge is 8.21m as of today (11th) 1:30pm.

At 7:30 in the morning, the water level was 7.55m, and the water level is getting higher.

This is because the Paldang Dam is discharging more than 10,000 tons per second due to heavy rains in the upper reaches of the Han River such as Gangwon and Chungcheong.

After a while, from 3 pm, the Soyanggang Dam is also scheduled to discharge up to 600 tons per second, so the water level at the Jamsu Bridge is expected to rise further.

For the fourth day, neither cars nor people are able to pass, but it is unlikely that traffic will resume immediately.

Citizens commuting to and from Seoul are paying close attention to the road control situation.

Yesterday and today, on the way to work, it was reported that traffic had resumed, but there were still many people struggling on their way to and from work because the road was still under control at the site.

Please tell us exactly what the current road control situation in Seoul is.

<Reporter>

Currently, 17 roads in Seoul are under control.

In the western part of Seoul, both directions are controlled at Dangsan Interchange, Mangwon Interchange, and Gaehwa Six Lock Gate.

The section of the Olympic Bridge Dongjak Bridge and Gayang Bridge has resumed traffic from last night.

Currently, all sections of the Eastern Arterial Road and inner ring road are allowed to pass by vehicles.

Real-time traffic information can be found on the Seoul Traffic Information System website.

As the situation is constantly changing, it is recommended to check the traffic information in advance before moving.
