The Chungcheong region, where strong rain and wind blew all night, is calming down.

The accumulated precipitation until 3 p.m. today (11th) is Cheongju 296.8 Jecheon 335.5 Daejeon 289.5 mm, etc.

In Cheongju, where it rained heavily, the Musimcheon Stream flooded and blocked the passage of citizens and vehicles, but as the rain subsided, the water level did not rise.

The flood warning has been lifted.

Large and small flood damage was counted in various places, but unlike the metropolitan area, it is known that no casualties have occurred.

As of 4:00 pm, the heavy rain advisories that had been issued for Sejong and Daejeon, and Chungbuk and Chungnam were all lifted.

It has been raining hard since morning in the Jeonbuk area.

In Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do, where the heavy rain warning went into effect at 8:10 a.m., 100mm of rain per hour once fell, submerging downtown houses and shopping malls.

In Gunsan, nearly 100 cases of damage have been reported so far, and restoration work is underway.

By 3 pm, 248.5 mm of rain fell in Gunsan, 177.5 in Iksan, and 150.5 mm in Gimje.

The heavy rain warning issued in Jeonju, Iksan, Gunsan, Gimje and Buan was changed to a heavy rain advisory at 3 pm.

Heavy rain advisories are still in place for six locations including Jeongeup and Wanju.

Currently, there is a landslide warning in Gunsan and a landslide warning in Jeongeup and Buan.

Heavy rain was predicted tonight as well, but since the ground is in a weakened state, special attention is required to avoid damage such as flooding or collapse.
