It rained this time in early August, so there are many people who were surprised by the sudden rain after leaving the house.

Some campers, in particular, found themselves trapped in the rising waters in search of valleys or rivers.

Reporter Jae-geun Cho will tell you about this.

<Reporter> The

bridge was completely submerged in the overflowing river water and disappeared.

Across the muddy waters, campers anxiously await rescue.

About 90 campers who visited a campsite in Gangneung around the weekend were isolated for the second day in the rising water.

The 119 rescue team arrived, but more than 30 cars could not be moved across the river.

The water level gradually decreases as the upstream dam discharge is stopped and the waterway blocked by an excavator is cleared.

Only after firefighters directly checked the depth of the water and rescue vehicles crossed the river to ensure safety, vehicles and people were able to safely cross the bridge and escape.

It's been a full day since I called for rescue.

[Isolation Camper: (When were you going to leave?) Just yesterday.

(You haven't been out for two days?) Yes.

I was at work and it suddenly came like this and I couldn't come out...

.]

[Residents of the village: It would be good if you follow what they say, but anyway, all those people took a long vacation and came here...

He seldom tries to get out.]

In this valley, nine people, including a family, were rescued this morning after being isolated for a day in the overflowing water.

Yesterday, two campers in Yangyang and seven campers in Yeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do were rescued.
