A woman in her 50s who went missing in a manhole on the 8th when heavy rain poured in Seoul was found dead.

At a beach in Jeju, two tourists in their 20s who were canoeing fell into the sea, killing one and one missing.

A woman was found dead in the Banpocheon Stream near Dongjak Station in Seoul at around 10:30 pm on the 11th.



It was a woman in her 50s who disappeared after falling into a manhole in Seocho-dong, Seoul on the 8th.



The site where her body was found is about 4.6 kilometers (approximately 4.6 km) in a straight line from the manhole, the site of the accident.



A cruiser rescue worker who searched the area explained that Mr. A's body was hidden among submerged trees.

Her brother B, who went missing with Mr. A, was found dead in the rainwater pipe 1.5km away from the accident site the previous afternoon.

Yesterday around 4:50 pm, two male tourists in their 20s who were canoeing at Gwakji Beach in Aewol-eup, Jeju-si fell into the sea.



An hour later, a man was rescued and taken to the hospital, but died.



The Coast Guard and others are continuing their search for one other missing person.



A fire broke out in an apartment in Yongho-dong, Nam-gu, Busan at around 8:10 last night and was extinguished in about 20 minutes.



About 20 residents were evacuated from the fire, but no one was seriously injured.
